Small on the guest list. Big on the day.

Say your vows by the pond, dine under the lights, and take portraits in the pasture while the horses look on. Fifty guests or just the two of you.

• Where the ceremony happens. Most couples use the pond dock or the open pasture, then move to the deck for dinner. Both work; we will walk you through the light at your ceremony time.
• The single best tip. Plan the ceremony to end about 90 minutes before sunset. Portraits in gold light, dinner as the string lights come up, dancing in the dark.
• Rates. A full day is $900 on a Friday or Sunday and $700 Monday through Thursday, for up to 50 guests, with setup and teardown included. See pricing.
• Insurance. Weddings need a one-day event liability policy naming The Porch as additional insured. Because we are alcohol-free you can skip liquor liability, so most policies run $75 to $200.
• Vendors. Bring your own photographer, caterer, and florist; there is no required list. Because we book Friday, Sunday, and weekdays only, you generally have more vendor availability than a typical Saturday couple.
• Getting ready. There is no bridal suite. Most couples arrive ready or use a nearby hotel or Airbnb; ask us for local suggestions. An engagement session on the property can be arranged when you book.

One long table, wildflowers down the middle, and golden-hour light your phone camera cannot ruin.

• The four-hour block. Showers, dinners, and graduation parties start at a $400 minimum covering four hours on any open day, with extra hours available. Most fit comfortably in four.
• Food. Self-cater, potluck, or bring any caterer you like. There is no kitchen on site, so caterers work from the deck and their own equipment; the buffet goes along the deck rail, which works well in the evening light.
• Drinks. The Porch is alcohol-free. Mocktail bars are popular here and photograph beautifully in the glassware.
• Tables and settings. Seating only from $10.50 per person, full place settings from $17 per person, delivered, set, and cleared. Or bring your own tableware.
• Setup help. A decorating coordinator from $65 per hour sets the tables, hangs the drapes, stages centerpieces and signage, and clears at the end. Figure about 1.5 hours per 10 guests.
• Dessert. Bring your own cake or work with a bakery; we can include a dessert table in your setup.

Buffet on the rail, kids on the lawn, grandparents in the shade. The kind of evening people talk about at the next one.

• Kids and animals. The open pasture and the goats make this a good venue for families with children. Children should be supervised near the pond. Portraits with the goats or horses can be added to any booking.
• Head count and cars. Up to 50 guests. Vendors do not count as guests, but their vehicles count toward the 12-vehicle limit, and roadside parking is not permitted, so encourage carpooling.
• Food trucks. Welcome with advance notice so we can plan access and parking. The truck counts toward the vehicle limit.
• Shade and heat. Draped canopy sections and mature tree cover on the deck. Summer afternoons can top 95, so evening starts after 5 pm are more comfortable.
• Cleanup. Take out what you brought in, remove your decor, and leave the deck as you found it. No separate cleaning fee; the coordinator add-on covers this if you would rather not.
